You might not guess from the outside that this shop has probably the best chocolate in Bruges. Well, you might from the fact that it’s not displaying the identikit chocolates that appear in almost every other Belgian chocolate shop, but it isn’t as sleek as most of the fine chocolatier’s boutiques.
The staff are enthusiastic and although the display, when I was last there, was slightly chaotic, there was certainly plenty to look at and a lot to choose from. Some of which I would strongly discourage you not to: a ganche of Fried Onions??! Curry?! OK, so I bought both, research purposes, of course. So now I can tell you, with some authority, not to buy them. But do try some of the others!
