Melt is a beautiful white shop in Notting Hill, slipped in between other boutiques, along the road from Ottolenghi and around the corner from Daylesford Organics.
Chocolates are displayed on wooden trays on shelves around the edge of the room and at the back, down a few steps, is a small kitchen with a marble table top where some of Melt’s award-winning chocolates are made.
My favourite is the salted hazelnut praline with a whole hazelnut on top.
