This is the cutest, most quaint shop I’ve ever been to, that actually sells incredibly good chocolate.
It’s a favourite of David Lebowitz and the woman who runs it, Denise Acabo, is just amazing. Her English isn’t fluent but her smiles and her service is incredible. With her pigtails, her dress and her enthusiasm, it’s like she’s from another world. She’ll pick you as having come there via David (and maybe one day via this site!) and she will point you to his favourites. Which, I have to agree is one of the nicest chocolate bars I have ever eaten: biscuit smothered in salted caramel and the whole thing enrobed in excellent chocolate. I bought two with the intention of giving one to someone else. I can’t remember who that person was but they never got it. (Sorry!)

She sells Bernachon and an amazing salted caramel biscuit bar.
