Koko Black was the next big chocolatier to shake up Melbourne’s chocolate scene after Max Brenner.
Started by the owner of the successful Suga, the quality hard candy shop, the first site was a two level boutique a few doors along from Suga. Focusing on a range of chocolates (filled, and solid chocolate shapes Aussies seem to be so keen on) the cafe is hidden upstairs, along with a few tables in the arcade.
(Melbourne is full of arcades like this one, all full of hidden gems that at least begin their lives as independant one-offs.)
