A cute shop in the gorgeous Cotswold village of Henley-on-Thames you will usually find the owners and chief chocolate makers, Matt & Elinor, in the shop as well. All of the chocolate is made in the kitchen behind the shop.
They predominantly use Valrhona for their chocolates and were one of the first English chocolatiers to use popping candy in fine chocolate (try it, it’s great!). Their dark chocolate bar with strawberry and black pepper is delicious.
Matt & Elinor also make a range of traditionally English chocolates that sell in Fortnum & Mason’s in London.
