I spent a couple of hours in the upstairs cafe here, watching the snow fall on the buildings below, with my laptop conveniently plugged in. No wifi but good hot chocolate.
It reminded me of Betty’s in Yorkshire. It’s a really big room but still manages to be cosy.
I chose the darkest version of the hot chocolate and most expensive, all chocolate dessert. They were both very good and an excellent dinner replacement. Service wasn’t brilliant but it’s a busy, touristy place.
Downstairs the huge room was brimming with chocolate goods. I bought a few truffles. They were good enough.
