I have loved Casey’s chocolates eversince I first tried the orange slices. The chili bark is a firm favourite and he is always introducing new flavours for me to fall in love with. Whenever I go overseas I always take some as gifts, and friends now request them in advance! There are new flavours for me to try and I can’t wait. Treat yourself or someone special.
I was at Paddington Markets when Delicacey’s started trading there. I nibble a few samples and that was it! I was HOOKED! Over the years, they’ve been a terrific ways of saying “thank you”, to take a selection when visiting someone, or buying them on behalf of friends who can’t get to the markets. My favourites Sour Cherry Brandy, followed closely by the Macadamia, then the Guinea Figs! I’m back there again tomorrow and look forward to treating myself to a little bit of YUM!
“Let’s make tracks,” I said. “Before they discover that they were fighting the robot pilot.”
“That will be twenty-two credits,” the robot said. “Cash only.” Then it opened its mouth wide, revealing a money slot where its tongue should be. I looked out of the corners of my eyes at Grissini who was as a marble statue. My round, obviously. I stuffed in coins until a horn sounded a quick fanfare and the door slipped out of sight. Mechanical arms seized the tray and deposited it on the table before us.
There was a stirring in the darkness and a gray creature stumbled forward. Angelina gasped and I had to struggle not to do the same. A rotund bulging forehead almost covered its eyes. Prognathous jaw, clawed fingers and suchlike combined to produce a really disgusting simulacrum of a human being. Gar smiled and nodded.
