Damson Chocolate was opened by one of our co-founders, Dom Ramsey, less than a year after he bought a grinder and had a go at making chocolate from a bag of cocoa beans at home. The front section acts at the shop offering all of his wide range of bars and some from www.CocoaRunners.com, too.
Behind this is a large professional kitchen where the beans are sorted, roasted, cracked, winnowed and ground then tempered into bars. Hours are currently irregular but they’re open most weekends.
Dom was awarded a “One to Watch” acknowledgement by the Academy of Chocolate in 2015.
Watch out at the moment there is no sign above the door. It’s right next door to Jaz & Jul’s Chocolate House so that should help.
