I took my grandaughter to visit the store this morning and was disgusted by the extortionate prices charged which cannot be seen until at the front of the queue!
£10 per adult is bad enough but £8 for a child is daylight robbery!
Before me in the queue a lady with 3 children walked out – she said she could not afford £34 and I should imagine a lot of people will feel the same.
Once more, as a York resident, I have been ripped off with inflated tourist prices and I am sure there will be a lot of very unhappy visitors to this site – never again!!

  2. Angela says:

Would not even rate this shop as hot chocolate was served cold. The staff argued that it was not. It was not a chocolate experience: for a true chocolate experience visit the Cocoa House, 3 Blake Street, York.

  3. Nicki says:

Dont think it’s worth it’s money £10 adults £8 kids would not go again or recommend to friends

  4. Simon says:

It was a lovely friendly place with great staff and I took two teenagers who really enjoyed the visit. Lots to see. Lots of free choclate and a really nice cafe to finish off. I Would recommend it. Maybe Yorkshire folk are tight- we are from London!

    Visit recommended

Very good, tour informative, fun and samples of chocolate given. Chocolate tasting good and interesting, making your own chocolate lolly fun, lots of interactive things to try. Demonstration on chocolate making excellent and chocs to taste. Not hurried and very enjoyable
