Cadbury World is a family tourist attraction on the site of Cadbury’s Bournville factory, although it does not offer tours of the factory itself. Opened in 1990, it now attracts over half a million visitors per year.
Cadbury World features fourteen different ‘zones’, each concentrating on a different aspect of the chocolate making process and Cadbury’s history. They are: Aztec Jungle, The Journey To Europe, Bull Street, The Cadbury Story, Making Chocolate, Manufacturing, Packaging, Cadabra, Demonstration Area, Advertising Avenue, Purple Planet, The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, The Bournville Experience, and Essence And Children’s Playground.
