There might have been pictures of this shop if I hadn’t been told off when I took out my camera. The staff weren’t terribly pleasant to begin with but then as I showed more interest in the product they took the time to tell me about their range of 16 fresh chocolates and the other chocolates in the shop.
At the back there is a seating serving cakes and chocolate too.
It’s a beautifully displayed shop, very professional (mostly white) with a huge variety of bars and other chocolate goods, including savoury and books. It’s a little like the Hotel Chocolat of Spain.
I wasn’t enormously impressed with the quality of the chocolates, particularly some teeth-breaking traditional Spanish biscuits coated in chocolate. However I have tried their milk chocolate cracker bar more recently and it disappeared quickly (and happily)!Calle del Consejo de Ciento,
