Bertil Akesson is a second-generation cocoa plantation owner. He has farms in Madagascar, Brazil and Indonesia and supplies beans to some of the world’s best chocolate makers.
This small shop in Notting Hill was opened in October 2014. It stocks has the full range of Akesson’s chocolate, bars made with Akesson cocoa beans by other makers, plus many varieties of pepper and other cocoa-related products.
Akesson’s has no seating or fresh chocolates. It is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
