Salted Askinosie Chocolate Sorbet at Roman’s in Brooklyn, NY

Last June I flew to New York for four days to visit the Fancy Food Show and as many chocolate shops as I could manage. I love New York and it is full of incredible food. One of the evenings I was there I had the pleasure of going to dinner with Shawn Askinosie, the founder and head chocolate man of Askinosie chocolate, and some of his team, plus Martin Jorgenson of ScandChoco. 

I came across this video I took on my iPhone (3GS, sorry about the quality) of Shawn trying the chocolate sorbet at the end of our dinner.  We went especially to Roman’s in Brooklyn because they were using Askinosie chocolate in their desserts and had been rated as the best icecream in New York by the New York Times for their salted chocolate sorbet. It was truly incredible.  On a balmy Summer’s evening this was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Well worth going to experience a great neighbourhood and incredible food and this, the amazing sorbet:

    hey, I am a high school stdnuet and just wanted to know what is your profession whats your career or your job? i am curious cause i just looked at the map and so many places you have been too and even attending concerts i from your youtube channel i saw a few clips form Tiesto and Skrillex that i also attended what kind of job allows you to travel and have so much free time and even have a website? i think that’s AWESOME!
